SINGAPORE 2014, PART 2

So following up from Part 1, I started off my South East Asia trip at Singapore ๐Ÿ™‚ One of my highlights here was staying at Marina Bay Sands!

I definitely recommend everyone to stay here at least a night when you’re at SG because it’s known for it’s Infinity pool!!!!ย We booked through Agoda.com and it was around $600 per night not including breakfast. Kind of pricey, but it’s so worth it considering it’s 5 star hehe

The service is just amazing here! When you step into the area you are greeted by staff and when you walk into the hotel it is VERY spacious! I love the dรฉcor and the interior design for this hotel. There’s much to do here such as visiting the pool, indoor restaurants as well as rooftop restaurant and bar, gym, shopping malls, casino, museum and many activities outside the hotel ๐Ÿ™‚

We started exploring and there’s 3 levels of shopping goodness! You can find a range of mid-high end brands for all walks of life and sexes ๐Ÿ™‚

I love how you can pay to ride in a small row boat on the indoor canal ๐Ÿ™‚

This was a VERY high escalator haha if you are afraid of heights beware!!! This leads to the rooftop garden which is halfway of the building ๐Ÿ™‚ It leads you to a different part of the hotel since there are 3 towers!

If you look above you can see the base of the Infinity pool!

After that we took a stroll outside the hotel! We saw this view from our room when we checked in and wanted to get to where those towersย were!

It wasn’t a far walk as the walkway to it was connected to the hotel!

It was such a beautiful sight of scenery and nature! I liked how the river was green haha

There were many shuttle buses that drives you around this park! It costs around SGD$2! You definitely should get on it because if you decided to walk the whole park it would take hours to finish as it was very very large!

I love how clean Singapore is!! As for the food in Marina Bay, they have a range of Chinese restaurants as well as cafes and bakeries! I have a weakness for dessert and anything sweet so I had to try out some macarons and cakes ๐Ÿ™‚

20140204_000448

I couldn’t resist these heart shaped macrons that were made because we were there during Valentines day ๐Ÿ™‚

Almond pastry tart with raspberries and Chocolate mousse were orgasmic! These were from a cafe inside Marina Bay and they also had a bigger selection too! It was so hard to choose which ones to eat ๐Ÿ˜›

20140204_124632

We also ate at the food court inside Marina Bay which offered countless selections of food from different cultures such as Malay, Singaporean, Chinese, Vietnamese, Italian and other western food! But I was craving for pasta so I had the salmon carbonara spaghetti! But I must say it was average and didn’t taste authentic but what can you expect from a food court in Singapore? haha

One thing that amused me was that there are luxury taxi cars!!!! haha you can choose from Mercedes, Audi, Lexus, Bentley etc! I think that’s pretty cool haha

I’m going to end this Part 2 post with a view from the hallway in our hotel ๐Ÿ™‚ Will be continuting this post with the last Part 3! Then coming up will be Malaysia our next stop hehe
