I can’t believe I haven’t posted this yet! I really need to get my blog game up!!!! I took these pictures the moment I got my paws on them months ago haha. Super sorry guys! I hope you managed to get some items from this collection πŸ™‚ I was lucky enough to have my girlfriend pick these up from me, and to add to my luck, it was meant to launch on Monday (but she went on Sunday) and the girl at MAC was nice enough to sell to her a day early hehe! I only wanted theΒ 2 items because I want to be wiser with shopping and not over spend XD

I have chosen the Iridescent powder in “Coupe d’Chic” and Lustre lipstick in “Royal Ball” πŸ™‚ These happen to both be pink shades haha! I just love the colour pink. I know a lot of people went crazy over this collection! I don’t know how girls can even line up the morning of the release! I don’t think I can do that and I’m glad it doesn’t get that crazy here in Sydney over new release makeup haha. This collection is inspired by one of the most popular Disney movies, Cinderella πŸ™‚

Can we just stop and drool at the packaging!? It’s super romantic and feminine! I’m in love with that shade of powder blue against the yellow gold πŸ™‚ The packaging style is the same as any other MAC packaging, you get the logo with the collection logo and in this case, the packaging is coloured instead of the classic black.

The back of the cardboard box displays the name and shade of the product as well as ingredient info!

What looks on the outside is just as beautiful on the inside πŸ˜› The plastic packaging feels very smooth and it’s light to hold! Like the box, the packaging is simply stamped with the 2 logos, MAC and Cinderella πŸ™‚

Top of the box packaging also shows you the name of the shade!

Ta-da!!! Look at this! So divine! That feeling of buying new makeup and not wanting to use it because it looks so perfect untouched haha XD Again, I’m digging that gold accent on the inside of the packaging! This is one of the prettiest colour combination on the packaging of MAC products haha πŸ˜›

The bottom of the products also tell you what type of product it is and the name of the shade πŸ™‚ Love that the sticker is in gold too, to go with the theme πŸ™‚ Just so you know, the lipstick consist of 3g of product (standard sizing) and the powder has 8g of product which is decent but a little less than their standard 10g weight! The pricing of these are the same as any other colour and product type. If I remember correctly, the lipstick costs $35AUD and the powder costs $50-55AUD?

This lustre lipstick is perfect for every day wear! That’s why I think this collection did so well, because all the shades are wearable day to day and it’s effortless πŸ™‚ This lipstick smells just like all the other MAC lipsticks, and it applies semi-sheer but it can be layered on top of a lip liner for more opacity. If you wear it on your natural lips without any other product, it becomes a tint. It has a slight shimmer, and the pink colour is perfect! More on the warmer side which I personally think it suits all skin tones too πŸ™‚

Was eyeing on this iridescent powder when I saw it’s release overseas! I love the idea that it looks very pink on the pan, but it has micro gold glitter so it reminded me of NARS’s Orgasm blush! But when you swatch it, it reminds me of the Mineral Skin Finish highlight powders! I reckon if you have pale to fair skin you can use this as a very natural blush, if not then a highlight πŸ™‚

The texture of this powder is great, but not as smooth as most of the MSK I have used! I guess because it has the micro glitter particles, the texture won’t be as “smooth” but it looks fantastic on the skin πŸ™‚ It’s also a plus that if used as a highlight, the pink shade isn’t so strong!

Swatches of the powder and the lipstick side by side πŸ™‚ You can see how sheer the powder applies! It can be built up if you wanted a slight opacity as a highlight πŸ™‚ You can see how shimmery the lipstick is too! It’s not drying on the lips and it feels comfortable to wear. The powder lasted on my face all day in Summer and as for the lipstick it lasted for a few hours till I had to reapply because of food πŸ™‚

Have you guys seen the new collaboration MAC has with Ellie Goulding? It looks pretty lovely! Wonder if I’ll end up getting any haha. Because MAC seems to be launching new products every month! It gets hard to catch up sometimes, especially if you already have a lot of makeup to last you for generations haha!
