Lust Have It! January 2017 box

Hi guys!

As January comes to an end, I have this month’sΒ Lust Have It! beauty box to show you πŸ™‚

I can’t believe it’s almost February! Time flies!

In this month’s box, here are the goodies that you’ll find πŸ™‚ I love how there’s always a great variety of items each month!!

Let’s start off with some makeup! This is the Burt’s Bees lipstick. I love these! I tried one in a different shade before so I was so happy to see this lipstick in this beauty box πŸ™‚

The lipstick is housed inside this packaging which I’ve never seen before! It’s pretty cool because at the back you can see the different kinds of shades you can get πŸ™‚ Burt’s Bees is well known for their lip balms, so when they created a lipstick version of them, it’s amazing!

The packaging of the lipstick itself! It’s super sleek, lightweight and stylish! I love the beehive pattern on the lipstick and the colour way of it is pretty!!

The shade I’ve received is a beautiful natural nude colour that you can wear everyday πŸ™‚ It’s #501 Blush Basin.

You can see how long the lipstick packaging is! I also want to note how much I love the scent of this lipstick! I don’t know how to describe it, but it smells nice XD

Swatch time! The shade is a soft, rosy pink πŸ™‚ Perfect on any skin tone and for day or night makeup looks! You can see the texture of the lipstick and the finish is definitely a satin like they have mentioned. Without a lipliner, the coverage is great, however paired with one then it will be fully opaque and extra long-lasting! I can wear this without a lip liner all day and only touch up after lunch πŸ™‚ It’s super comfortable on my lips and it moisturises them while I wear it!

Next up is the Unani demo defence face mask. I’ve never tried this brand before so it’s another great chance to get to know it πŸ™‚ I really like how simple the packaging is and I like the pattern on the front!

This is the back of the packaging so you can see the ingredients and details of this face mask! It’s a classic face mask where you’ll apply it on your face after cleansing and leave it on for 10mins then wash off. It’s good to do a face mask once or twice a week depending on your skin condition! It’s always a great idea to give it a little boost, especially in the middle or end of the weekΒ πŸ™‚

This mask will aid with hydration and protection of your skin! So definitely recommend if you have normal to dry skin πŸ™‚ If you got oily skin like me, this will be perfect during Winter! πŸ™‚ You can see the texture of the face mask is a clear, gel type! It’s not thick at all and it glides onto the skin like a dream! It doesn’t feel suffocating, infant my skin drinks it up so quickly which is a good sign πŸ™‚ As for the scent, I love it! It smells so fresh and revitalising XD

Next up is this Marsk organic eyeliner! I’ve never tried any organic cosmetics but I have always been interested. I just don’t know where to find them to try them out haha. Maybe one day I’ll purchase more organic beauty products!

Some details on the eyeliner πŸ™‚ It’s housed in a classic wooden pencil which you’ll need to sharpen. The shade is “Pitch Black” which you can’t go wrong XD

Swatch time! You can see how black this eyeliner is πŸ™‚ I love any eyeliner that gives off a darkest black shade. No in-betweens! Black has to be pitch black in my books haha XD The eyeliner glides smoothly on my skin and the wear is pretty much the same as most regular eyeliners. I never wear pencil eyeliner alone anymore because on my oily skin it doesn’t last and usually smudges haha. Even the “waterproof” ones! So now I always put liquid liner over the top to help it last longer πŸ™‚

Next up is this Ofra cosmetics highlight powder! I’ve heard good things about this brand online, so I was super stoked to see it in this beauty box πŸ™‚

This is a highlight powder and it’s a single pan, so it’s housed in a simple packaging where you can see the shade of this powder and easily pop it out and put it in your magnetics makeup case XD

The pan of shadow is covered by another piece of packaging!

The pan reveal πŸ™‚ It is sitting on a black felted material. I guess it’s to keep it from moving around haha.

Swatch time! Look how gorgeous is this shade!!!! It’s a classic highlight colour, a pearlescent silvery-white that will be perfect on the inner corners of the eyes, or underneath the brow bone! But of course it’s always a good idea to put it on your cheekbones πŸ˜‰

Swatches on my skin πŸ™‚ It looks more white on my blue-yellow skin tone! It’s quite pigmented so a little goes a long way πŸ™‚ Unless you get excited and start dusting this all over your face for that eye-blinding glow XD

Now this is how the pan looks like! It’s housed in a fine metal casing which is magnetic so it attaches firmly onto any magnetic makeup pan! πŸ™‚ I’ve put it in my MAC one incase you want to know where to get one!

The last item is the OPI Shatter nail polish πŸ™‚ I love OPI and collect a lot of their shades, especially natural and nude colours! I’ve always wanted to see what their Shatter polishes are all about! These style of polishes have been around for years, for as long as I remember haha.

I wanted to see how the actual shade looks, so I’ve swatched it on a plain base first! It’s a beautiful magenta pink shade πŸ™‚ It looks quite matte too and I don’t see any of the glitter and sparkles come through like in the bottle!

But after I applied the shatter over some base colours, you can then see the sparkly glitter in the polish πŸ™‚ It’s super fun to use and it’s an easy way to achieve some kind of nail art on your fingers! They dry so quickly and one coat is all you need, because this style is more forgiving, you don’t need to worry if you don’t apply it perfectly! Once it dries, you can’t even tell XD

So that’s it for this month’s Lust Have It! box πŸ™‚ I loved the items that this month has to offer! If you are interested in purchasing a Lust have It! subscription, check out their website:Β http://www.lusthaveit.com.auΒ πŸ™‚
