I’m super excited to share with you guys my Lime Crime beauty haul πŸ™‚ I purchased these when they had a discount towards the end of last year! I think it’s a great time to try some new makeup when they have discounts haha. I picked up a Velvetine liquid lipstick pack along with a few liquid eyeliners! Let’s get into it, shall we? πŸ™‚

Lime Crime is a brand that I am familiar with. I started off using their lipsticks and eyeshadow primer around 5 years ago! I fell in love with the formula of the lipsticks and the colours were interesting too πŸ™‚ That was the time they had all these pastel lipsticks and it was just starting to become a trend to wear pastel/bright lips.Β I’ll link you here to that post I’ve written about their lipsticks if you want to read it:ΒΒ πŸ™‚

This is my first time ordering directly from their website! I was super excited to receive a beautiful reversible cardboard box πŸ™‚ I just love the print so much! The floral pattern works well with the pastel colours and logo. Shipping was for free with my purchase so I saved myself around $15! It took around 2 weeks for it to arrive which is standard when you ship to Sydney from overseas with standard shipping haha.

Let’s start with the Velvetines pack! πŸ™‚ I fell in love with these new shades when it was revealed online. I also noticed the packaging is blue compared to their regular red so this was a great collectible πŸ™‚

The box packaging is just too gorgeous to throw out!! The shade of blue is stunning and the packaging is just too cute haha. Lime Crime does well in that department πŸ˜›

There used to be a lot of discussion about the Lime Crime brand. For myself I always like to try it for myself and then have my own opinion before jumping the bandwagon. I’ve had no problems purchasing this brand and all the products had metΒ my expectations. The first time I purchased my lipsticks was from and the second time was this, when I purchased directly from their website πŸ™‚ I always pay with PayPal instead of a direct credit card so I feel protected.

When you open the packaging, each Velvetine is in their own box packaging πŸ™‚ I like how they are individually boxed! Usually their limited edition packs come in a pack of 3. Sometimes when a colour sells really well they end up becoming a permanent colour in their line πŸ™‚ In this case, all 3 did very well and had become permanent!

The colours included in this pack are: Beet It, Buffy and Peacock πŸ™‚ Peacock was the one that caught my eye because this shade of blue is just stunning and I’ve not seen anything like it on the market! Once I applied the other 2 colours I end up falling in love with them too πŸ™‚

At the top of the individual packaging you’ll see a sticker of the name of the shade too, as well as the back πŸ™‚

The bottom of the product also has a sticker of the name of the shade πŸ™‚ I really like the Velvetines packaging! It’s a frosted wand which feels sturdy to hold and the size is just perfect πŸ™‚

As you can see it’s exactly like any other lip wand packaging with a doe foot applicator. The great thing about this wand is that it picks up the right amount of product to cover your lips! I don’t even have to go for a second dip πŸ˜›

It’s swatch time! πŸ™‚ You can see how opaque the colour payoff is with just one swipe πŸ™‚ I was super impressed by the formula of this product. I’ve tried a range of low and high end liquid lipsticks and I was surprised how this one tops them all! It dries quickly, into a true velvet-like texture which isn’t too drying! It doesn’t settle into your lip lines as deeply as other liquid lipsticks πŸ™‚ When you smack your lips together it’s not sticky at all and very comfortable to wear all day long. The lasting power is fantastic, only ever disappearing when you eat oily food, but that happens to every other liquid lipstick on the market πŸ™‚

I originally purchased this set to also test the formula and if I love it, then I could purchase the other colours. Safe to say how addicted I am and I can’t wait to get my paws on the other colours! For the price and formula I say this is definitely worth the money compared to higher end liquid lipsticks which don’t feel or look as great as these πŸ™‚

Here’s a picture of me wearing Peacock and Beet It πŸ™‚ Peacock is a beautiful sea blue, which isn’t too bright or too dark. I say this is a wearable kind of blue compared to a pastel blue or electric bright blue! Beet It is a gorgeous wine red shade which is perfect because some deep red shades can look almost black! I’ve received a lot of compliments when I wore this shade πŸ™‚ It has a hint of purple which makes it interesting.

This is Buffy πŸ™‚ They say it’s Cashmere’s cousin and I definitely agree! It’s a beautiful nude beige shade that will suit everyone for every occasion! I definitely want to grab Cashmere too πŸ™‚

Another look at Buffy πŸ™‚ Just to note, I wore these products without a lip liner so you can see the true colour on a natural lip! Though since these are opaque, having a lip liner underneath won’t change the outcome of the lip colour.

Now we’ll move on to the liquid liners πŸ™‚ I fell in love with the colours Lime Crime offered because not many brands make a range of bright and fun liquid liners! But firstly, how cute is this box packaging?! πŸ™‚ I love the dots and logo haha.

I have purchased 4 colours: Lunar Sea, Orchidaceous, Citreuse and Lazuli. I wanted to buy Blue Milk, however it was sold out πŸ™ That is on my wish list haha.

I have to show you how cute is the lining of the packaging! A bright pink interior πŸ˜›

Ugh I just love the packaging!!! It’s simple, sleek yet fun πŸ™‚ These dry pretty fast on your skin s that’s a plus! The formula isn’t too watery or creamy and it dries down to a matte finish. The colour doesn’t go patchy at all and you can layer these too.

Just like the Velvetines, these liners also have a sticker on the base with the name of the shade.

Swatches of the liners πŸ™‚ I love all these colours and you can incorporate them into your eye makeup for a splash of fun and colour or you can wear them alone for a statement, runway inspired cat eye! πŸ™‚

I had to show you guys that my hand got some stained from the warmer shades haha. Just goes to show that colours with more warm/red undertones last way longer than colours with cool/blue undertones πŸ˜›

A selfie of me wearing the Lunar Sea eyeliner with Beet It Velvetine πŸ™‚ Also faked some freckles for a change haha.

I was impressed at how opaque the colour payoff is from the liquid liners and they last pretty well too! πŸ™‚

I hope you enjoyed reading this post and maybe spark an interested in you to try out these products!! πŸ™‚ I can’t wait till I purchase more Velvetines haha.
