Hey guys πŸ™‚ Have you heard of or tried GlamGlow’s skin products? I LOVE them! I wanted to see what the fuss is about with their products since I been hearing good things about it. I bought these from Mecca Cosmetica and they are $86 each! I was thinking if I should get the Thirstymud but since I have normal to oily skin I skipped out. I already have a similar kind of productΒ from another brand that offers hydration so I bought the other 3 πŸ™‚

From clockwise I have bought the original Youthmud mask, the new Powermud dual cleanser and the Supermud clearing treatment πŸ™‚Β Before I bought all 3, I made some other makeup purchases in Mecca and I saw that they sold GlamGlow, so I asked the SA if I could be sampled with all 3 masks because I was really interested in purchasing. But I wanted to test it out to make sure I didn’t break out since it was really pricey for a jar! I’m so glad I tried it though because I ended up purchasing all 3 πŸ˜›

Let’s start off with the packaging! I love GG’s packaging πŸ™‚ The box is made of sturdy cardboard and I just love how colourful they are! I like how each product and jar is coloured so you can tell them apart πŸ™‚

Also love the stars on the sides of the boxes πŸ™‚ Have you realised that they are all different shapes? Square, triangle and octagon πŸ˜›

We’ll start off with the classic Youthmud mask! This is their best seller πŸ™‚ I think this was the original that got released first, then came the others! This mask is meant to clear your skin and give it radiance. It’s housed in a black, square box with silver lettering.

The back of the box tells you info about the product, ingredient listing etc πŸ™‚

Hello Sexy πŸ˜›

There’s a cardboard stand that fits inside and holds up the jar and stops it from moving around πŸ™‚

Love the packaging!! So shiny!

The jar is so beautiful and simple! It’s sturdy to hold which is great since you’re paying $86 for this haha. Inside the box you’ll also find some pamphlets.

Basically it gives you for information about the ingredients that features in the Youthmud such as Green tea leaf “Teaoxi” which are the tea leaf pieces you’ll find in the mask which delivers anti-aging and anti-wrinkle results. The Volcanic pumice rock clears dead skin cells, smoothes out fine lines and softens the skin texture which makes your skin look radiant!

IMG_2218And we have French sea clay! This absorbs impurities and toxic substances which minimises pore size πŸ™‚ These are just a few to name!Β But on the other side it lists all the remaining ingredients.

I think the jar is travel friendly because it’s sturdy! This is the full size jar (50g) but it also comes in a 15g version for $25 which I don’t think it’s worth it. But if you want a trial size or travel size then it’s for you πŸ™‚

On the back of the jar it has info about directions of use and their social media links πŸ™‚

When you twist open the lid, you can see the product is fresh and untouched because it has been sealed! You just lift it off and voila! You can always keep it and put the cover back on if you like.

Sometimes there can be a little layer of liquid on top of the mask, but you can fix that by mixing it back up prior to use πŸ™‚

This was the first mask I tested out and I love it! It does have a slight tingly feeling at first but it doesn’t bother me, I actually like it πŸ˜› AndΒ after a few uses I’ve gotten used to it and I don’t feel it as much. It also has that “tightening” feeling when it sets on your skin too! The scent of this mask is lovely too!Β It’s a soft neutral scent. So it shouldn’t bother too many people haha.

Some people use a brush to apply it on their face but I feel it’s a waste of product to do so, so I just use my finger to apply it evenly to freshly cleaned face! Be generous though, so apply a little more just enough to cover your skin haha. I always leave mine on for about 15mins and sometimes even 20mins if I’m doing chores and forget about it. After you wait, you rinse it off with circular hand motions lightly rubbing the product off your skin with warm water. Then I pat dry with a towel.

This is how the Youthmud looks when it has set on the face πŸ™‚ At first when you apply it freshly, it’s a dark colour and it gets lighter like this when it dries! There’s also little pieces of tea leaves in there so don’t get scared when you see it on your face haha. It also shows you the areas where larger pores are present! For my face, it’s primarily at the centre of my face: nose, chin, forehead and inner cheeks.

After rinsing the mask off, I did notice a difference πŸ™‚ My skin looked clear, squeaky clean, radiant, it felt so soft and my pores looked smaller! I only use this mask once every fortnight or 3 weeks because I switch it to the other 2 masks too πŸ™‚ Or unless I think my skin needs this, then I’ll use it. A good point with this mask is that it didn’t leave my skin blotchy or get any redness! I think if you have sensitive skin then it’s better to test out a sample first πŸ™‚

Now on to the Supermud πŸ™‚ I love this one so much too! This is perfect if you have dull, problematic and congested skin. Since I wear makeup for an average of 6 days per week, my skin can sometimes look dull and congested! I also get my monthly hormonal bumps and pimples around my chin area. I stopped going on the pill last year so I noticed my skin has been getting pimples much easier now πŸ™ This is the reason why I HAD to get the Supermud because I wanted to see if it could help clear out my skin.

Again, the back of the box tells you info about the product. I love the white, octagon shaped box πŸ˜›

Hello sexy! (again) πŸ˜›

Just like the Youthmud, the Supermud is secure in the box so it won’t be rolling around and product goes every where haha.

This jar is the largest size you can get in the Supermud version, though it’s only 34g as compared to the Youthmud and Powermud which is 50g! And you pay the same price for all 3 πŸ™ I try not to use this all over my face too often because this will be finished way quicker than the rest haha. You can actually use this mud as a spot treatment on only the areas that is problematic! So now I only use this on areas I need. But I did first try it all over my face to see how it works!

Again, the back of the jar shows you directions on how to use it.

Sealed for freshness and hygiene reasons πŸ™‚

When I opened mine I noticed the product was everywhere! I guess when it was in the shopping bag it was rolling around haha. Lucky it was saved by the seal! πŸ˜›

This is the size comparison of the 50g and 34g jar πŸ™‚

I guess that’s why the Supermud is in a smaller size, to encourage people to use it on only the areas you need it? Maybe I’m wrong haha.

Excuse the poor quality as I used my phone camera (front camera) to take this photo haha. But this is how the Supermud looks on my skin! At first when you apply it, it goes on dark grey, but as it dries it sets to a colour similar to the Youthmud. I use the same steps to apply all my masks/exfoliators! I always remove my makeup with a makeup remover, then I use a foaming cleaner to deep clean then I pat dry with a towel and then I apply this product. You don’t have to put it on your eyebrows but I do and it doesn’t affect it πŸ™‚ Again, the scent of this mask is lovely and it doesn’t bother me!

For me, the Supermud didn’t give me a reaction πŸ™‚ My skin wasn’t left red or itchy. Instead, my skin looked clear, radiant and pimples do diminish quicker in the next few days! When I have pimples, I never pop them because I don’t want any scarring left on my skin. So I just wait patiently till it goes away naturally. In the mean time I use masks or products that dry it out to speed up the healing process πŸ™‚ Supermud doesn’t give me a tingly feeling like Youthmud does, but I think if you have sensitive skin, it’s better to try out a sample before purchasing.

Now this is Powermud πŸ™‚ This is the newest of the GG clan! The SA mentioned this to me when I was checking out the other products. It helps to deep clean gently, polishes the skin and give it radiance. It removes weekly buildup from makeup and the environment thanks to it’s mud to oil combination to break down impurities. I think this one will be suitable for sensitive skin πŸ™‚

I love the bright green packaging!! It’s such a nice colour πŸ™‚ The triangle shaped box is cute too haha. So tiny!

Like the other 2, Powermud is encased in it’s place. I guess if you buy online you won’t have to worry too much about the jar moving around!

It comes with a pamphlet like Youthmud πŸ™‚ This is the largest size, which is 50g, the same size as Youthmud.

Inside it shows you what makes Powermud powerful at deep cleaning! Featuring Oilixer which contains 4 cleansing oils that are non greasy and fast absorbing. These 4 oils are Prickly pear oil, Pine oil, Frankincense oil and Myrrh oil which are non greasy and fast absorbing! Then you have Claytox, which is a gentle and powerful detoxification system which includes 4 clay blends. They are: rare Brazillian white clay, Bentonite clay, Kaolin clay and bio-mineral green clay. Then you have Pureifier, which contains a complex mix of cleansers which are Benoitine, Yeast amino acid, AA2G (Ascorbic acid 2- Glucose), and micro fine rice.

The back of the jar πŸ™‚

Classic GlamGlow seal.

First thing I noticed was how smooth it looks and the colour of the mask πŸ™‚ More on the green side than blue grey like the other 2 masks! It smells lovely too.

You’ll notice how light this mask looks on my face! It’s slightly more translucent than the Youthmud and Supermud πŸ™‚ There are no little bits of ingredients in this mixture so it applies smoothly on your skin. It also does not dry as much as the other 2 masks so you don’t get that “tightening” or tingly feeling. To me, this is more of a gentle version of the Youthmud! This will be perfect if you have sensitive skin and looking for similar results as the Youthmud. I still prefer the Youthmud and Supermud because I like the feeling they give me so it feels like it’s doing something haha! After rinsing it off, I have noticed my skin looking clear, clean and radiant. Seems that all 3 masks give me these results which is a plus!

All 3 masks together πŸ™‚ Reminds me of Dragonballs from the tv series haha!! Now I’m just missing the Thirstymud in my collection πŸ˜›

Overall, I love all 3 products and I will definitely repurchase Youthmud and Supermud when I finish them! They are expensive though but it’s worth every penny. To me, skincare is like an investment so I do not mind splurging on skincare that gives my skin results πŸ™‚ I guess if you are a bit hesitant on buying these, just go for the smaller size and try it out! That’s the only way you’ll find out if these work for you because everybody have different skin types, needs and it all works differently on everyone!

I do plan on buying the Thirstymud as soon as my other hydrating masks are finished or if in the future I notice my skin type going on the dehydrated side πŸ™‚ I wouldn’t mind trying the eye mask too! Thanks for staying with me on this lengthy post and I hope my pictures and review helps you answer some of your GlamGlow curiosity!
