Brunch Uniform Code: Black & Brights

I am someone who always wear black: whether it’s head to toe or a piece of clothing/accessory – I must incorporate it! I’m obsessed.

Today I opted for a statement piece of clothing which screamed out SPRING! (even though it is Autumn now). But played down with black. The printed play suit is from Lucy In The Sky, cape blazer is from Bardot which seem to be the hype at the moment considering Sass & Bide has done them for a while now. Pointed toe flat with a gold ankle strap is from Zara which I was lucky enough to snatch it at their store in Singapore because all Asia Zara stocks size 35 which you can’t find in Australia!! My only accessories today was the House of Harlow Sunburst necklace and Michael Kors Lexington watch. Gold accessories is a MUST in my fashion bible!

There’s something that I love about graphic prints. You can do so much with them for day and night. This play suit is a halter neck style which I thought was a nice point of difference for my wardrobe. Variety is key so it forces you mix and match. Here is how it looks like without a jacket worn over.

And of course a close up of the beautiful watch and the bag I took out today, a hot pink Coach leather cross body! I love coordinating outfits and making sure they marry each other. I received this watch as a gift the other day and it was exactly what I am missing in my watch collection. It’s the perfect size on my wrist, a 26mm face. So it’s in between the large and mini size watches. The overall design of the watch resembles very much of a Rolex but that is my ultimate watch wish list which I hope I can fulfil in a not too distant future 😉
